Microneedling uses small needles to create tiny, controlled micro injuries in the skin.
This triggers collagen and elastin production, which are essential for smooth, healthy skin. (That’s why microneedling is sometimes called Collagen Induction Therapy, or CIT.) Healing microinjuries stimulate collagen and elastin production. Once healed, skin appears smoother and rejuvenated.

What is the recovery time?
You should be back to business as usual within a day of treatment. While your skin is healing, it may look pink or red. This is normal, and your provider will set you up with simple post-treatment care.
Is microneedling painful?
Your provider will use a numbing cream to prevent any unnecessary discomfort. After the treatment, your skin may feel a bit sore and dry for a few days.
Ageless Athletes RX offers two options for Microneedling:
1. Basic Microneedling of the face includes Microneedling with our REVISION
post procedure skin care kit included.
2. Boosted Microneedling of the face includes Microneedling plus application of a
booster serum to ultra hydrate, regenerate, and protect the skin post microneedling. After the serum is applied you will be placed under our LightStim Elipsa red light therapy panel. This treatment will help build collagen, improve the
appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, calm the skin, and help the booster serum
penetrate deeper into the skin. You will be sent home with a REVISION post
procedure skin care kit to help hydrate, calm, and protect your skin.
